Tingshas Dragon 6.5cm
Tingshas are traditionally used during sur offering practices, but can be used for a variety of other purposes.
The Tibetan Tingsha, or Ting-Sha, consists of a pair of small metal alloy cymbals, each connected at the end of a leather strap or chain. Tingsha cymbals are much smaller than orchestral cymbals, a pair of which are not played and are simply held by each hand of the musician. They are played quite vigorously, unlike tingshas, which are played softly.
Tingshas are used by Buddhists as sound offerings or as a way to clear the space before meditation.
These tingshas are decorated with a dragon drawing.
The brocade cover is not included, but can be purchased here.
